Michael Andrew Jace (born July 13, 1962) is an American convicted murderer and former actor. He is best known for his role as the bisexual Los Angeles Police Officer Julien Lowe in the FX drama The Shield. He also has parts in the movies State of Play, The Replacements, Forrest Gump, The Fan, as well as an array of TV appearances including the 1995 HBO TV movie Tyson (as boxer Mitch Green), Law & Order, and the 1999 Fox TV movie Michael Jordan: An American Hero (as Jordan).  He was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department on the evening of May 19, 2014, at his Hyde Park, South Los Angeles home, following a domestic violence report as well as his own 9-1-1 call, in which he stated, "I shot my wife." When police arrived, they found Jace's second wife, April, dead from gunshot wounds. After being questioned by police regarding his wife's death, he confessed to the shooting. On May 31, 2016, a jury convicted him of second-degree murder and, on June 10, 2016, sentenced him to 40 years to life in prison.   • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
