Christian Kochmann is a German Director of Photography & Camera Operator working in feature films, documentaries and independent projects. After training and working as a camera assistant and lighting technician, he completed his diploma in artistic cinematography for fiction and documentary film at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in 2015. His feature film debut, Oray (2019), received numerous awards, including the First Feature Award at the 69th Berlinale, the Grand Jury Prize for Best European Debut Film at the Premiers Plans d'Angers Festival, and the Golden Olive Branch for Best Film at the Festival del Cinema Europeo in Lecce. The film Annunciation (2017) was nominated for the Student Academy Award and the experimental documentary Ocean Hill Drive (2016) won the German Short Film Award in Gold and the 1st Prize in the NRW Competition at the Oberhausen Short Film Festival. His latest feature films, HYSTERIA (directed by Mehmet Akif Büyükatalay) and SIRENS CALL (directed by Gossing/Sieckmann), had their world premiere at the 75th Berlinale in 2025, where HYSTERIA won the Europa Cinemas Label as Best European film in the Panorama section.

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
