In this context, this film focuses on the eruption forecast of one of the most active stratovolcano in the world: Mount Merapi. For many human who live around the volcano, Merapi as a geological entity is a symbol of a contingent future. Pyroclasts are eloquent storytellers delves into the psyche of the mountain as well as examines the practice of prophecy performed by people who live around the volcano with their multimodal approach to worldviews.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
