Sang Nian accidentally ascended to the cultivation world, becoming the villainous female supporting character in the novel who met a tragic end. Her mission was to marry the male supporting character, Xie Chenzhou, abuse and humiliate him, only to be killed by him in the end. Xie Chenzhou hated Sang Nian—everyone believed this to be true. Yet on the day she died, he abandoned his immortal path, descended into demonic cultivation, and leaped into the Endless Abyss.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
