This drama tells the story that after the September 18th Incident, the Japanese invaders intended to turn Linkou Town in the Northeast region into the first sovereign territory outside Japan. They vigorously oppressed Fang Zhenyu, the owner of the "Zhengbei Goods Store" in Linkou Town, hoping to turn Fang Zhenyu into a puppet mayor to achieve the goal of controlling Linkou Town.
