Güneş is a young woman who has just graduated from university and is preparing to go abroad to pursue her ideals. When Güneş’s brother is imprisoned due to a false accusation, her path crosses with Ayaz, the heir to a large and prestigious holding. Fate tests the two young people through the lives of their loved ones, pushing Güneş to play a dangerous game to save her brother. However, the rules of this game will be disrupted by love. As Ayaz’s heart, frozen in ice years ago, warms with Güneş’s presence, life shows its ruthless face to them both without hesitation. In a journey woven with secrets and intrigues, Ayaz and Güneş fight battles where both their salvation and captivity will be love.

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
