Von Flores is a Filipino-Canadian actor who has starred in a number of television and film productions. He is often cast as commanding or aggressive characters.  Flores was born in Malabon, Philippines, in 1960. He immigrated to Canada with his family when he was 13 years old. He studied chemistry at the University of Toronto, but eventually dropped out to pursue a career in acting.  Flores' first audition landed him a guest starring role on the television series Night Heat. He went on to perform roles in a number of other television series, including Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, The Adventures of Sinbad, Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years, Forever Knight, E.N.G., Street Legal, and Degrassi: The Next Generation.  Flores' most notable role is that of Ronald Sandoval in the science fiction television series Earth: Final Conflict. Sandoval was a recurring character in the first season of the series, but became a regular in the second season and remained so for the remainder of the show's run.  Flores has also appeared in a number of feature films, including Johnny Mnemonic, I Love a Man in Uniform, Eclipse, and Dogboys. He has also appeared in several television movies, including the TekWar trilogy and the Mayday episode "Bomb on Board" (Philippine Airlines Flight 434).  Flores is a versatile actor who is able to portray a wide range of characters. He is known for his strong presence and his ability to command the screen. He is also a skilled martial artist, which has helped him in his roles in action films and television series.  Flores is currently based in Toronto, Canada. He is married and has two children.

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
