A work in constant progress (and occasional regress).
Daniel Schwab's journey in entertainment started on regional theatre stages all across his home state of Florida. As an actor, he has worked with Tony winners Frank Galati and Donna McKechnie, Tony nominee John Tartaglia, Emmy Nominee Kassie Wesley DePaiva and Broadway regulars Erin Davie and Abby Mueller at some of the top regional theaters in the country. After moving to Los Angeles, he has worked alongside Robert J. Ulrich and Brenden Rodriguez at Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer Casting. They have collaborated closely with producers like Seth Rogen, Jensen Ackles, Eric Kripke, Lauren Shuler Donner, Gail Berman, Susanne Bier, Paul Feig, Kim Tannenbaum and Austin Winsberg. They have assembled casts for hit TV shows like Netflix's THE PERFECT COUPLE starring Nicole Kidman, Amazon's THE BOYS, NBC's ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST, Fox's MONARCH, CW's THE WINCHESTERS and many others. Most recently, Daniel has joined Debby Romano and Brett Benner at Romano/Benner Casting to cast Apple TV+'s Shrinking starring Harrison Ford and Jason Segel. Shrinking was created by Bill Lawrence, Jason Segel and Brett Goldstein and has consistently ranked as one of Apple TV+'s top shows. In addition to casting, Daniel is also a producer at Stay Relevant Productions where he has helped shepherd a variety of projects in film, television and live theater. Shooting has recently wrapped on the feature film THE SURRENDER that he co-produced starring Kate Burton and Colby Minifie. The film had its world premiere at SXSW and will be available to stream on Shudder May 23rd.

Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).
Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).
At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.
Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:
Regarding profile removals and data corrections:
Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
Whether or not he still clings to an award which he won in 1986 as a film critic for his college's newspaper, Jeffrey Hartmann is not responsible for the texts of overviews and biographies supplied by external data sources.
