J. Joseph Held (Jacob) is a 20-year-old aspiring filmmaker from London. At school, he developed a passion for photography that inspired his filmmaking. He studied Film Studies at A-level where his short film Reverie was awarded a High Commendation at the BFI Moving Image Student Awards. After leaving school he completed an Art Foundation for which he received a distinction and he is currently studying Philosophy BA at The University of Bristol. His second short drama The Rings We Bear was screened at Hampstead School of Art, and his most recent film Orange Assessment, is a short surrealist comedy. After completing his degree he plans to pursue filmmaking as a career.

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
