Gianni Crea is an Italian film director and screenwriter known for his work in the Spaghetti Western genre during the late 1960s and 1970s. Born in Siderno, Reggio Calabria, he began his career in the film industry as an assistant director and screenwriter. Crea made his directorial debut with Finders Killers (1969), a Western film that contributed to the popular genre of the time. He continued to direct and write for films such as Law of Violence (1969) and Seven Devils on Horseback (1975). Crea's films are characterized by their action sequences and adherence to the stylistic elements of Spaghetti Westerns.
