Toni Henderson-Mayers is a sought after Arts Entrepreneur with experiences as a TV/Radio Relationship Expert, Actress, Director, Author, Professor, Cultural Sensitivity Consultant and Monologue Coach.  Toni is the CEO and Founder of Word Therapy Publishing, LLC., which publishes books, audio and video to encourage, empower and heal audiences. She is also the owner of Alphabet Theater Workshop, which performs dramatic readings of almost anything from children's stories to The Bible. You can also see Toni on stage or in various films or TV commercials. *  Toni was the past radio personality for 91.9 FM, WNTI and AM 1430, WNJR, New Jersey and currently hosts "The Job Alternative" podcast and "Wise Courtship" which is accessible on iTunes or her website. Most recently Toni joined the STELLAR AWARD WINNING All Nations Radio Network with her own show, The Wise Courtship Philosophy Show.  Toni Henderson-Mayers is the co-author of "One Great Idea", which is a collaboration with other successful business colleagues on various business ideas. Her book, "Wise Courtship: Before Relationship & Marriage Guide" has earned worldwide distribution and audience and a nomination for a Shelf Award. Wise Courtship help seal her title of TV/Radio Expert as she was heard on over a hundred stations in one year. She is also a contributing writer to the book, "Share & Grow Rich" and "Hiring Now" magazine.  In the theater, Toni has performed and directed for many regional and Off-Broadway shows. She made her Broadway directorial debut for the United Solo Festival and was nominated for an Audience Award. She also serves as a Cultural Sensitivity Consultant for many theatrical productions.  Recently Toni was awarded The People's Choice Award at the ACHI Magazine Awards for exceptional work and inspiration she brings to thousands globally and was a finalist for the Indie Author Legacy Award (IAL) for her book Wise Courtship in the category of Relationships and is now a Inspire Award winner as Influencer of the Year. Also, Toni help launch two time Emmy nominated Never Settle Show (starring Mario Armstrong) as a Crowd & Consulting Producer. She now owns the Amen Corner, All Biz and Discover Me channels.  Toni is married to actor and playwright, Brian McClure Mayers and has two young adult sons.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).

Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
