Sasha Korbut is a Russian-American filmmaker, writer, producer, and yoga teacher based in New York City. His work centers on love, identity, and human connection. He wrote, directed, and produced Incomplete, a short film starring Pontus Lidberg and Cory Michael Smith, which premiered at the 2023 Provincetown International Film Festival and later screened to sold-out audiences at Roxy Cinema and QUAD Cinema in NYC. The film’s international premiere at BFI FLARE 2024 earned critical acclaim and praise on Letterboxd. His latest short, To Novosibirsk, starring Stephen Thomas Ochsner and Giorgio Kirilenko, was shot in one day on a modest budget and premiered at the Oscar-qualifying Provincetown International Film Festival in June 2025.
