Isadora Prata is a Brazilian actress, performer-creator, dancer, digital content creator, singer, teacher, and model who has been making a name for herself in various artistic fields throughout her career. Born in São Paulo in 1994, she discovered her passion for dance at a very young age and has since dedicated herself to honing her skills and exploring different styles and techniques.  With a degree in Dance from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Isadora also studied theater, showcasing her versatility and interest in various forms of artistic expression. Over the course of her career, she has worked with several dance and theater companies and has been involved in projects related to cinema, music, and fashion.  Among her notable works are contemporary dance performances such as "Tampoco Hay Casa," "Desvio para o Azul," and "Depois do Fim," the latter being a solo performance conceived by herself. Isadora has received praise for her refined technique, expressiveness, and her ability to convey sensations and emotions through her body. She has also taken part in cinematic projects, including the horror short film "Ritual de Beleza," directed by Fabio Salvador and produced by Bad Chinchilla Studios, as well as the music video for the song "9PM" by the band Red Pine, produced by Luca Abreu and directed by Victor Gois.  Furthermore, Isadora is a highly skilled teacher of creative dance and contemporary dance, having taught classes at various schools. Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).

Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
