Kim Jae-han, formerly known as J.Han, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, producer, lyricist, former member of ONEVOICES and SPECTRUM and current member of OMEGA X. He graduated from Seongdo High School. He made his debut in May 2015 (under the stage name J.Han) as part of the duo ONEVOICES with their first mini-album, "Flush". They were not successful and the agency, HAK Entertainment, decided to disband the duo right after promotions for their debut album ended. He switched agencies and re-debuted in May 2018 (using his real name) as SPECTRUM's main vocalist with their first EP, "Be Born". Unfortunately, after some initial success, the group could not continue to promote due to the COVID-19 pandemic and their agency, Wynn Entertainment had to cut expenses and decided to disband the group in July 2020. After switching agencies again, he re-debuted in July 2021 as a member of OMEGA X with their first single album, "Vamos". However, in October 2022, a video of the CEO of OMEGA X's label (Spire Entertainment) abusing him and his group members came to light. The members filed a lawsuit against their company to cancel their exclusive contracts and to file for the trademark of their group name. In January 2023, OMEGA X won the lawsuit and officially ended their contract with the agency. This was finally made official on May 8, 2023. The group is has been represented by IPQ since July 2023. He has written and produced several songs and he made his acting debut in 2023 with a main role in the BL drama "A Shoulder to Cry On".
Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).
Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).
At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.
Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:
Regarding profile removals and data corrections:
Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
Whether or not he still clings to an award which he won in 1986 as a film critic for his college's newspaper, Jeffrey Hartmann is not responsible for the texts of overviews and biographies supplied by external data sources.
