Siarhei Kavaliou is a cinematographer and documentary filmmaker, creator and co-founder of the MediaHUB Batumi production studio, initiator of Belarusian Archive of Private Films. Born in Babruysk, Belarus in 1989. He graduated from a music school in the piano class. He received a higher education at Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics , majoring in engineer-economist, 2007-2012. From 2011 to 2020, he cooperated with the media: Belsat TV, ARTE, Sky News, ARD, MDR, INTER, TV Rain, The Gurdian, Current Time, NY Times. In 2020-2021, he studied in a one-year program at a film school in Lodz, a cinematography class. In 2025 his cinematographer's debut in fiction film "The Swan Song of Fedor Ozerov" was premiered in section Forum at Berlinale 2025. Participant of film festivals: ArtDocFest 2022, CPH:DOX 2023, DOK Leipzig 2023, Berlinale 2025.

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
