Sike is an argentinian illustrator and comic-book artist, working consistenly in animation too since 2018. His animation career started in 2016 with the videoclip for Tute´s "Palabras Imposibles", a music+animation record project. He didn´t work in animation again till 2018, when he was recruited for Bellolandia´s Deportivo Baby (directed and created by Delfina Perez Adán a.k.a Estampita ) as lead background artist. He worked too as a concept artist in the same studio on an original project called Yorudan District. At the end of those projects Sike was comissioned a short "loop film" for the studio, that came to be ELA (2019) in wich he directed, illustrated and animated. In 2019 works as background designer for The Strokes "At the Door" directed by Mike Burakoff and Benjy Brooke, a videoclip that reunited various studios such as Remember Productions and 2Veinte. He worked too for studios like Rudo Co. in projects like Summer Nights (2019), a videoclip for argentinian band SIAMÉS, as background designer. Then came to work as Art Director, Layout and concept artist in various advertisements for the same studio with clients like Absolut, Nike and Adidas. His latest collaborations include La Niña y el Tsunami, a short film comissioned by United Nations and produced by Aura Studio among others, about a chilean child who survives the 2010 tsunami in the Juan Fernández isle, and Patricio Plaza´s soon to come film "Carne de Dios". In both of them he was in charge of the background designs. He is currently working on illustration and comic books too, having published three books already: Cartográfica (2019, Estudio Mafia, awarded with the 2022 Trillo Prize ), Memoria Selectiva (2016) and El Teatro Lunar (2012). He collaborated in a few comic anthologies and edited too a bunch of zines.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
