Dzauqy Ilham is a young Indonesian filmmaker who was born in Indonesia in 1996. He is an alumnus of VIU SHORTS! Season 2 2020, a filmmaking workshop organized by VIU Indonesia. While completing his studies he was active in the film community in his hometown. After graduating from Bachelor of Communication Studies, he continued to pursue his interests in the field of directing and writing screenplays as well as working on making short films. His short films have competed and screened at several festivals, such as Indiskop Film Festival 2020, Viddsee Juree Awards Indonesia 2021 and Open Air Cinema Jogja Asian Netpac Film Festival 2022. Based on the latest information, in 2024 he won the first prize in pitching and film funding from Europe On Screen 2024 to complete his latest short film "Tutup Hari Kiamat" which will be released 2025.
