A work in constant progress (and occasional regress).
Born:
September 14, 1998
Grayson Hunter Goss was born in Houston, TX. but grew up in Wisconsin where he started his running and acting career in the small town of Brodhead, WI. In August of 2011 he made his first trip out to L.A. even though it was a short trip he was able to get a lot accomplished. When he returned back to Brodhead he started cross country and realized that he had a gift also to run. He has always enjoyed running and doing sports in general. That coming spring he started track and field and beat the seventh grade record and almost the state record for the fastest mile for seventh and eighth grade in WI. After he finished school that year his family decided to make the big move out to Los Angeles for Grayson to really pursue his acting career. In the past year he has worked on multiple projects from music videos, commercials, his most recent commercial is airing on Cartoon Network right now, he played Young Burt on Raising Hope which aired January 31st on Fox, he plays the voice of Prince Hugo on Sofia the First a Disney animated series, and his latest project S.H.R.I.E.K. which will also started airing in January on "the Hub Network" You may also know him from his YouTube group Karma Guys. Grayson ran track this past spring and summer with the L.A. Falcons where he competed in the California State Games and brought home the gold in the 3000 meters, the 1500 meters, and the bronze in high jump. He continued his training and a few weeks later he traveled to Detroit, Michigan where he competed in the Jr. Olympics where he placed 46th in the nation for the 1500 meters and 43rd in the nation for high jump. He also qualified for the National Jr. Olympics for Cross Country and has just returned. Grayson feels that it very important to be well rounded so he stays very involved with his acting, running, academics, music, and charity work throughout the year. He continues to train with his running and takes acting classes during the week and he also is working on his song writing.
Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).
Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).
At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.
Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:
Regarding profile removals and data corrections:
Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
Whether or not he still clings to an award which he won in 1986 as a film critic for his college's newspaper, Jeffrey Hartmann is not responsible for the texts of overviews and biographies supplied by external data sources.
