Subrata Acharya (b. 1975, India) is an artist involved in painting, film direction, and in writing current affairs essays for local newspapers and magazines. His paintings have been exhibited at galleries throughout his career, and he has published three books, including one on Bengal folk art and crafts. He shot his first short documentary at age 24, Road to Heaven (1999). Since then he regularly creates short films and documentaries, one almost per year. Spring in the Air is his feature film directorial debut. He is currently finishing work on the documentary The City of Saturn.

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
