Carlos Ruiz is a Spanish professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Axiom and is currently one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions with Nathan Frazer in their second reign. He previously performed in NXT UK as A-Kid, where he was a former one-time and the inaugural NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion. Ruiz also competed in various American and European independent circuits, notably for Triple W, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), Progress Wrestling, and Chikara. In 2018, Ruiz became the first Spaniard and the youngest wrestler at the age of 20 to ever compete in a singles match rated 5 stars by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. In 2020, Ruiz became the first Spanish wrestler to win a championship in WWE after winning the NXT UK Heritage Cup.

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
