Thiago Braga de Oliveira completed his acting training from 2010 to 2013 at the Hamburg School of Drama , where he also appeared in several theater productions. After appearing in various music videos, short films and advertising films (including for Mediamarkt , Tom Tailor and Gillette ), he has been working mainly for television since 2019 . He made his TV debut in March 2021 in the 34th season of the early evening series Großstadtrevier , in which he played the laboratory doctor Dr. Philipp Bause in a double episode alongside Saskia Fischer and Maureen Havlena . In the ZDFneo comedy series Deadlines (2021), he played an episode role as "Latin Lover" Lounis Belmadi. He had a recurring supporting role as Esteban, the annoying agency colleague of the architect and main character Annika Baer ( Eva Maria Jost ) in the ZDFneo drama series WIR (2021). In the TV film Theresa Wolff – Home Sweet Home , the opening film of the ZDF series Theresa Wolff , which was first broadcast in autumn 2021, Thiago Braga de Oliveira played the scientist Ben Jones, the partner of the female main character. In September 2021, he played a leading role in the third season of the ZDF series Blutige Anfänger , in which he played the young, charismatic, German-Brazilian architect Oscar Ribeiro-Weingartner. From October 2022 to March 2023, he appeared in the TV series Alles was zählt as the "shady playboy", cook, and operator of the "Pommes Schranke" food truck , Gabriel Larssen. From January 2023 to April 2024, he was part of the main cast of the investigative team in the 5th and 6th seasons of the ZDF series SOKO Hamburg as police investigator Luiz Viera dos Santos. In 2023, he took on his first radio play role for WDR in DESIRE : About Sex, Work and Queer Desire .
