Paola Iezzi is an Italian singer, musician, and record producer, born in Milan on March 30, 1974. She is best known as part of the musical duo Paola & Chiara, which she formed with her sister Chiara Iezzi in the 1990s. The duo achieved great success in the Italian music scene with impactful pop-dance tracks such as "Vamos a bailar (Esta vida nueva)" and "Festival," which led them to win important awards and to participate multiple times in the Sanremo Music Festival.  In addition to her work with her sister, Paola has also pursued a solo career. She is known for her artistic versatility, blending influences ranging from pop to electronic music, and even dance. She has released several solo albums, including "Alone" and "I.Love," where she explores a more intimate and experimental side of her music. While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
