Louis Fried was born in Munich, Germany. 2004- 2010 Studies of Visual Communication/ Film at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. His work oscillates between documentary and fictional processes. In search of the strange in the familiar, the unexpected in the everyday, it combines precise observations with surreal moments to open up new spaces in between. His films have been screened at international film festivals such as the Berlinale, Jeonju Film Festival or Sao Paulo Short Film Festival and have also won awards. He lives and works in Hamburg

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
