I have been a Wardrobe Intern and PA for The Walking Dead – Season 5 as well as the Lead PA for the pilot episode of Recall. While those two positions are vastly different, they have both taught me how to handle paperwork, coral extras, wrap out productions, and lend a hand to someone who needs it. When I was brought on for a commercial with WXIA TV as their Wardrobe PA, I was able to witness the even faster pace of the entertainment industry. Actors were coming and going, in and out of costume, sometimes into multiple costumes that required a keen eye to all of the details. Buttons were flying off, patches were being sewn on, and everyone was able to stay in a great mood. And when I was the First AD for the action short, From the Shadows, I was given a new perspective on keeping to the schedule and trying to control the uncontrollable. My home is still the Art Department and that is where I thrive; I have experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and I am competent with Microsoft Word and Excel. Finally, I have handled receipts and p-card envelopes and can work a copy machine like no other. I currently live in Atlanta, GA as a non-Union member and have a very reliable car with plenty of trunk space to carry garment bags/shopping bags to and from set.
