Paolo Strippoli was born in Corato, Bari, in 1993. He graduated in directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome after graduating in Performing Arts and Sciences at La Sapienza University. In 2019 he won the Franco Solinas award for best subject with the film L'angelo infelice. In 2020 he directs with Roberto De Feo the Netflix original film A Classic Horror Story, with which he wins the best director award at the 67th Taormina Film Fest. In 2022 he directs his second feature film, the psychological horror film Flowing. In 2025 he will release his next movie, the horror The Valley of Smiles.
