Aleksei Korenev was a Soviet film director and screenwriter, best known for his work in the comedy genre. He directed the popular television series Big School-Break (1972–1973), which became a classic of Soviet television. Korenev's films were characterized by their humor and insightful portrayal of everyday Soviet life, resonating with audiences across the USSR.
