Tebogo Malebogo is a South African writer and director based between New York City and Johannesburg. His goal is to create narratives that imagine Black and South African stories and perspectives not often seen in cinema. Malebogo's films have screened at Locarno Film Festival, New York Film Festival, New Directors/New Films, SXSW, Clermont-Ferrand, AFI Fest, and Blackstar among others. His works have been programmed on Le Cinéma Club, Topic, Vimeo Staff Picks, Argo, and MUBI. He has been supported by BAFTA, Berlinale Talents, The New York Foundation for the Arts, and initiatives at New York University, where he studied on scholarship in the Graduate Film Department.

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
