Mehmet Ada Öztekin (b. 1976, Antalya), Turkish director, screenwriter, writer, translator. The Kuzey Güney series, one of his most influential works, was broadcast abroad, especially in countries such as Serbia, United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Albania and Iran. He directed the movie Losers Club on the Road, which is a sequel to the movie Losers Club, which started shooting in October 2017 and was completed on 17 November 2017. The movie was released in Türkiye on March 16, 2018. The Miracle in the 7th Ward, which he directed in 2019, became the most watched movie of the year. The film was Turkey's Oscar nominee in the 93rd Academy Awards for the Best International Film.
