Wendy has recently been cast as Kyra in the latest Drew Barrymore comedy film about to shoot in New York. It’s directed by Jamie Babbit it also stars Michale Zegen from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.  Wendy is in her first Hollywood movie called, Corporate Animals staring Demi Moore, Ed Helms, Jessica Williams and Karan Soni. Wendy plays the part of Victoria. Which previews at Sundance Film Festival 2019.  Wendy performed as Charlotte in her sell out comedy play ‘Old Frenemies’ at the Stephanie Feury theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Please see the review page and click on the link to watch the play.  Wendy is originally from the Gwent Valley in Wales. She now lives in London, having spent twelve years living in America. She received her actors training at The American Conservatory San Francisco where she studied for three years. She worked in the theatres around the San Francisco bay area being cast in anything British – Carol Churchill’s Fen, Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party and Goose pimples, David Hare’s Secret Rapture, Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing with San Francisco Shakespeare Co. She was a regular performing member of the comedy improvisation group, Bay Area Theater Sports, and played comedy roles in short and feature length independent films.  When Wendy moved to New York she studied at HB studios in the Greenwich Village with Uta Hagen, and studied screenwriting at New York University. She did several off-off-Broadway plays and performed stand-up around Manhattan and was in several independent films and the long running daytime soap, As The World Turns.  Since returning to London her recent credits are BBC 1’s The Old Guys and Bafta Award winning series Peep Show, Fresh Meat and Danny Boyle’s C4 comedy drama TV series about the Met police in London and several independent films and commercials.

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).

Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
