A Brazilian filmmaker and video artist. He was selected for the Talents BAFICI, VGKI summer school, Looking China Program, the Young Art Bienal (Argentina) and won a scholarship to be Fellow in the Flaherty Seminar (NY, USA). Some of his documentaries are Jasy Porã (Argentina), Алексндр (Russia), 小寨 (China), Tarkovsky Napes (video-essay) and Ojo de Mar (Argentina). Currently focus his work on interactive site specific installations, as the sci-fi project Sphere 4, the Human Egg (Tras-os-montes), Como Ensillar un Caballo Bajo el Volcán Domuyo (Argentina), Eu, Tu e o Campo (Portugal), Bowing (Portugal), Terra Vermelha (Portugal). Have several work in progress films as Diario de um Crime, Yo Emigro and Trémula. He has an artistic duo working on different projects with Natalia Lis. His work has been presented internationally in exhibitions, festivals and articles. He has won prizes like best short movie, best experimental video and best photography. Interested in the distinctiveness of each culture, identities, borders and their crosses, he seeks a distinctive perception of time and space through experimental audiovisual art.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
