After graduating from NYU with a degree in film production, Jayil has worked as a director of commercials, music videos, and short films in both the US and South Korea. In the last couple of years, his works have screened in 100+ film festivals and garnered 50+ awards around the world. His film Georgia (2020) won best short at the Busan International Film Festival and was nominated for a Korean Oscar. Georgia has also been featured in The New Yorker’s Screening Room Video Series and ranked 6th on Screen Rant’s 10 Best Short Films Ever Made According to Letterboxd. Recently, Jayil directed a Disney+ original documentary series on the K-pop sensation NCT 127 set to premiere on August 30th, 2023.

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
