Oktay Baraheni (born May 12, 1974) is an Iranian writer and director. He is the eldest son of Reza Baraheni, a well-known Iranian poet and literary figure. He left his industrial engineering studies unfinished in Iran and, after immigrating to Canada, graduated in cinema from York University in Toronto. His first feature film, Bridge of Sleep (پل خواب), was screened in the "New Look" section of the Fajr Film Festival in 2016 and was released to the public in January 2018. He has also worked as a journalist. His latest film, The Old Bachelor (پیرپسر), was released after being banned for several years and received a Very Hype reception from the public.

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
