Won Jin-ah (born March 29, 1991, in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea) is a South Korean actress best known for her versatile performances in film and television. She made her screen debut in 2015 with short films and supporting roles in feature movies such as "The Chosen: Forbidden Cave" and "The Age of Shadows." Won's breakthrough came in 2017 when she landed the lead role in the drama series "Rain or Shine" (also known as "Just Between Lovers"), earning critical acclaim and a Best New Actress win at the APAN Star Awards.  Won Jin-ah's notable television credits include "Life" (2018), "Melting Me Softly" (2019), "She Would Never Know" (2021), "Hellbound" (2021), "Unicorn" (2022), "The Defects" (2025), and "Judge Lee Han-young" (2025). While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
