Mary Houlihan is a comedian, writer, animator, and artist in NYC. She created, wrote, animated, and starred in the Comedy Central hybrid animation series “Learn To Paint! With Mary Houlihan.” Her writing has appeared in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Reductress, and Paste Magazine, and her work has been featured in Vulture Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Paper, Onion AV Club, Forbes, and others. She has appeared on Broad City, Difficult People, The Chris Gethard Show, Danny’s House, Rachel Dratch’s Late Night Snack, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Billy On The Street, and creates the title art for Joe Pera Talks With You on Adult Swim. She has written and co-written several plays and one-woman shows including Me and Jack, which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019, and Mary Houlihan: Live ‘N’ Good.
