Director, graphic designer and art director. He was born and lives in Bratislava. After studying applied design, he graduated from VŠVU, department of industrial design. As a graphic designer and art director, he worked in advertising companies in Vienna (Chocolate Multimedia Production), in Sydney (Mcmann&Tate) and in Bratislava (Wiktor Leo Burnett). He currently works as a director and creative director of GunPowder studio. He is the creator of dozens of award-winning commercials, to which he lent his distinctive style based on attractive visuals and dynamic film editing. He collaborated with brands such as OMV, Galéria Belveder, Marlboro, RedBull, Johnnie Walker, Orange, Alfa Romeo, Dobrý anjel and Viva Musica Festival. He is the winner of the Аčko competition for the best video clip (for Jana Kirschner), a finalist of the Billboard of the Year competition and The Global Awards New York 08, the recipient of the Filip award - Award for personal contribution to Slovak creativity and the winner of many Golden Nails for the best Slovak advertisement of the year. In addition, he is a creator of video clips and short feature films. The film Kandidát is his directorial feature-length feature debut, he also "directed" the video clip for the title film composition by Veca.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
