Director. Born in Moscow in 1980. From 2001–2004 studied at the Film Institute VGIK, class of direction of documentary films of I. Geleyn. Then engaged in business in cinema and other areas. In 2010 made his first film, “Old Tiflis Fairy Tales”, which received a special prize in the competition Profession: Reporter. In 2013 graduated from the School of Documentary Film and Theatre of Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov. His second work as director was the 52-minute documentary “Together” (2014), which won the Laurel Branch at ArtDokFest, the first prize for the best non- fiction film at the St Anna festival, and the main prize at DOCUDAYS (Ukraine). His first feature film, “Not My Job” (2015), won the prize for Best Debut and a Diploma from the Guild of Film Critics and Scholars at Kinotavr 2016, the jury prize at Visions Du Reel in Nyon (Switzerland), and two prizes at the GoEast festival in Wiesbaden (Germany). “Mira” is his second feature film.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
