Ol Parker (born 1969, London) is an English TV writer and director. In 1997, he married actress Thandiwe Newton, who starred in his first film, It Was an Accident (2000). His birth name was Oliver Parker, but he changed his first name to Ol, to avoid confusion with Oliver Parker who directed the 1999 film An Ideal Husband.
