Morgan Oey (born Handi Morgan Winata on May 25, 1990, in Singkawang, West Kalimantan) is an Indonesian actor, singer, and model. He first gained recognition as a member of the boyband SM*SH before shifting his focus to acting after leaving the group in 2013.  After departing from SM*SH, Morgan proved his talent in acting by starring in various feature films. His film debut was Assalamualaikum Beijing (2014), followed by roles in Ngenest (2015), Sweet 20 (2017), Belok Kanan Barcelona (2018), and Eggnoid (2019). He also starred in Losmen Bu Broto (2021) and several popular web series.  Known for his versatility, Morgan has played a wide range of characters, from drama and comedy to fantasy. Besides acting, he remains active in music and frequently collaborates with various musicians. With his steadily growing career, Morgan Oey is now recognized as one of Indonesia’s prominent actors in the entertainment industry.

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Regarding profile removals and data corrections:

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
