Vasia Trifilli (Athens, 31 May 1943[2]) is a Greek comedic actress. Her real name is Vasiliki Eleftheriou, She is originally from Athens (Plaka) on her father's side and from Kythnos on her mother's side.[2] She studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre (1969). Her first appearance was with the troupe of Kostas Voutsas - Maros Kontos - Nikos Rizos (1969 - 1970). She made her film debut in 1970 with the film The Teacher Was a Fool. She had participations in films alongside Thanasis Vengou, such as: The Foolish World of Thanasis, The Bald Student, etc. She lent her voice to the dubbing of the animated series Maya the Bee. She is also the Greek voice of Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil in the films 101 Dalmatians (1996) and 102 Dalmatians (2000). Her participation in The Arbitrary (1989) will remain unforgettable. She has presented various game shows with considerable success, most notably Blind Date. She has been honored with the Panathenaia Award for her contribution to the review during the period 2000-2002.
