Chicco Jerikho Jarumillind (born July 3, 1984, in Jakarta, Indonesia) is an Indonesian actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He is widely known for his strong acting skills and roles in various popular films and television series. Chicco has Thai ancestry from his father and Batak ancestry from his mother. Chicco began his career in the entertainment industry by starring in the soap opera Cinta Bunga in 2007. His name rose to prominence after starring in the film Cahaya dari Timur: Beta Maluku (2014), which won Best Film at the 2014 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI). In this film, he played Sani Tawainella, a former soccer player striving to maintain peace in Maluku. One of Chicco's most iconic roles is as Ben in the film Filosofi Kopi (2015) and its sequel Filosofi Kopi 2: Ben & Jody (2017). His portrayal of an idealistic barista earned widespread appreciation and popularized the specialty coffee trend in Indonesia. In addition to acting, Chicco ventured into film production. He co-founded the production house Visinema Pictures with Angga Dwimas Sasongko and has been involved in producing several successful films. On March 3, 2018, Chicco married actress and singer Putri Marino. The couple has a daughter named Surinala Carolina Jarumillind, born on September 24, 2018. Chicco has received numerous awards, including Best Actor at the Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) and the Indonesian Movie Awards for his role in Cahaya dari Timur: Beta Maluku. Chicco is also known as a sports enthusiast, particularly in soccer and cycling. He owns a coffee business inspired by the film Filosofi Kopi. With his dedication and talent, Chicco Jerikho continues to be one of the top actors influencing the Indonesian film industry.
