Nick Valensi (born January 16,1981) is an American musician and songwriter, who is best known for his role as the lead guitarist in the American rock band, The Strokes, since 1998. In 2013, Valensi formed an alternative rock band called CRX and is the lead vocalist. He married Amanda De Cadenet, a British photographer and author, in 2006.
