Mala Chapple (born October 3, 1969) is a distinguished executive producer and the current president of Story Syndicate, a production company founded by filmmakers Liz Garbus and Dan Cogan. In this role, she oversees the development and production of various projects, including documentaries and series. In 2010, Chapple received an Emmy nomination for Exceptional Merit in Nonfiction Filmmaking for her work as an executive producer on "Brick City," a documentary series that aired on the Sundance Channel. Prior to her tenure at Story Syndicate, Chapple was associated with Viacom's Music Group, where she contributed to various projects.
