Nathaniel Chaplin "Nathan" Brown (born May 20, 1988) is an American actor and director whose career started by playing the lead role in the 2009 thriller Enter the Void, which was directed by Gaspar Noé, and nominated for a Cannes Palme d'Or. He starred alongside American actress Paz de la Huerta. Born in Hershey, PA, Brown had been taught at home by his mother until the 10th grade. He has one older sister, Hannah, two younger sisters, Elizabeth, and Abigail, and one younger brother, Wells. Nathan moved to New York City in 2007 when he was street cast by Barbara Pfister to model shows during Fashion Week. His modeling career spanned two seasons and ended when he was cast for Enter The Void. After the shooting of the movie, he appeared in a Barneys New York ad campaign alongside Gabe Nevins shot by Nick Haymes. He was also shot by Nan Goldin for V Magazine where he gave an interview for the July 2009 issue. While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
