Salman tries to heal bonds between his maternal uncle and his mother and their families as they had drifted apart due to religious difference after his mother's marriage.

Story of a Flamboyant Muslim boy Salman Khan,who impersonates a Hindu priest Giridhari Purohit in order to get close with his maternal uncle Abhinash Raichoudhary who banished his younger sister and Salman's mother Saraswati after love marriage to Mr.Khan and into a Muslim family for cultural differences and conservative society's pressure . Salman Tries to heal bonds between the two families. In the meanwhile he falls in love with Ganga the adopted daughter of his maternal uncle and match became an item with the help of the handmaid Lalita who was no less than a daughter in the family. The Raichoudhary Family's arched nemesis the Mardharaj brothers tries to create commotion but both Khan and Raichoudhary family come together to fight the villain brothers. The bonds between the Raichoudhary and Khan families are healed with Ganga's marriage to Salman.
