A poor guy named Dhiman (Uttam Kumar) found a shelter in a rich man house but eventually fell in love with his daughter, Anjana (Suchitra Sen). Despite trying to make a name for himself by painting and sculpting, Dhiman and Anjana went through all kinds of turmoil to be together.
