Sunk in boredom, a young woman decides to walk the streets of Hong Kong until she finds a goldfish that reminds her of the nonsense of a cyclical life. As she goes through the different stages of the water cycle, she remembers through past lives that in order to achieve calm, lethargy and catharsis are necessary.
