Medical student Antti Ahonen, who is fighting tuberculosis, finds himself in the middle of a love triangle with his friend Heikki Huhtamäki and his crush Helmi Hirvinen.
A fictional educational film about the dangers of tuberculosis, with some documentary sequences. The film was made at a time when 45 000 Finns were contracting tuberculosis every year, and the disease was killing many people.
