The drama Roinilan talossa (1935), directed by Erkki Karu, is based on Minna Canth's play of the same name. In a rural landscape in southern Finland, a search is on for the missing will of the recently deceased Ojala's master, whose nephew Olli takes over the house. The devious Olli tries to win over Anna, the daughter of the Roinila house, who is attached to steward Mauno.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
