A film maker thinks that he is HIV positive and about to live his last breath. He decides to make a film on HIV positive homosexuals.
Come December opened on 12th November as US Premiere at Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival tells the story of a Documentary Film Maker from India-Mumbai, Who is making a Documentary film on Homosexuals living secretly in India. Due to the pressure from society, They are scared to come up with their identities. This documentary Film maker's own brother was a Gay. And he committed suicide. The style and narration of this film reminds of Faisal Saif's earlier film Jigyaasa (Indian-Hindi Language). This is the second feature film that is seen from the eyes of a Documentary Film Maker. The film goes with the same flow and grammar of his last film. But here a story told in a very very Dark and disturbing format. The film claims to be based on real life incidents and treated in compact locations makes worth a view! The film also said to be banned by Indian Censors for two times.Performancewise Aushim Khetrapal is good and so is the actor played HE. Hayley Cleghorn is okay and so is the rest of the small characters. The surprise element is the Transvestite Song and dance sequence in the film that really deserves tap on the Film Maker's shoulders. The camera-work is okay, The editing could have been much crispier. Finally an Indian Feature Film on gays that is not to be missed out!

Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).
Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).
At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.
Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:
Regarding profile removals and data corrections:
Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
Whether or not he still clings to an award which he won in 1986 as a film critic for his college's newspaper, Jeffrey Hartmann is not responsible for the texts of overviews and biographies supplied by external data sources.
