Bureaucrats from a chemical plant in a small industrial town allow the lake to be polluted with waste. An enthusiast in the fight for a clean environment, Zaborov begins an open struggle and is defeated. This does not bother him and he disappears for a while. After some time, a prehistoric lizard appears in the lake, which immediately attracts the attention of the world community.
